Round table "Examples of good practice and perspectives in the financing of energy efficiency in Montenegro"

Organized by the Montenegrin Employers Federation, the Engineering Association of Montenegro and the Economic Chamber of Macedonia for Small Businesses, today, there was held the round table entitled "Examples of good practice and perspectives in the financing of energy efficiency in Montenegro."

Guests were greeted by Ljubo Stjepčević, president of Engineers' Association of Montenegro, Ivan Mitrovic, Montenegrin Employers Federation Vice President, Slobodan Sofeski, President of the Chamber of Commerce for Small Businesses in Macedonia.

 

The roundtable presented several projects. The project "Energy Effiency EUbuild – Energy Efficiency - International cooperation in the sector of financing buildings within the EU regulations and legal agreements" was presented by Mr. Drazen Karadaglić, the project coordinator.

About the national survey of legislation and incentives on energy efficiency as well as examples of good practice, was presented by Mr. Nikola Vujosevic, the researcher on the project.

The regulations for energy efficiency in buildings - statutory provisions of the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Macedonia - the way of its implementation in the design construction, installation and construction / reconstruction of facilities, was presented by Slobodan Sofeski, the president of the Chamber of Commerce for Small Businesses in Macedonia.

After the roundtable, there was held a panel discussion on practical experience in the use of efficient technologies and building materials, which were exposed by the business sector representatives from Montenegro and the region.
